So THAT's what a showreel is... HARD!
It's been really difficult to be critical over what to include - it's tempting to think 'well I made it so I want someone to see it!', you have to think that if it's not good enough you really shouldn't be showing it.
I wish I had been able to have more of a flow in the final submission, as it felt a little jumpy between completely non-related clips.
The one major issue I have with my video is the still images - The setup is horrific. Unfortunately my camera that I use for this sort of thing (a DSLR that I adore called Leon) I had to make do with a less amazing alternative - this meant that the focus on the still images wasn't great and also, it was difficult to create a good 'frame' for the image.
Normally, I would have a plain white backdrop in front of which I would place the object as well as using two bulbs to light it a lot better (One key, one side) however due to several reasons this was not possible to I made do with the situation I had available to me.
I need to work on the little details - these are what I feel lets my work down.
Practice, Practice, Practice :D
